My Bio:

Let me begin by saying I am not a perfect Christian..... Whew! Glad I got that out of the way!
I am Patti, a single mom of 2, a nurse, entertainment chairman, cook, maid, chauffeur, laundry goddess... the list could go on for days! Bottom line, I try to hold it all together and make God the priority but sometimes carnal me floats up to the top and gets in the way.
Recently I discovered that most of my life problems can be solved by God and Gorilla Glue ( hence the name) My goal is to drag you along my journey. My journey to being a better person, mom and Christian. Along the way I plan to help other single moms to avoid the same mistakes I have made. Together we will make house repairs, hopefully grow a garden, cook, make laundry detergent and try to revert back to a self sustaining simpler way of life.
My beliefs: clean eating, attachment parenting, earth loving, and the art of being nice. I try to live up to these beliefs but sometimes I throw caution to the wind and drive through Chick Fil A and mow down some french fries while drinking a coke zero out of a styrofoam cup! It just makes me feel dangerous! As far as being nice... I often have recite the commandment thou shalt not kill. That mantra really helps me!
In my quest for health I have recently began the couch to 5K program. Needless to say I was disappointed when I learned the first week was not spent on the couch :( I cherish my uninterrupted couch time!I am also trying to adopt a more simplistic lifestyle. The word simplistic in my vocabulary basically means frugal but the word frugal makes me break out in a cold sweat and forces me to run to the nearest store to buy expensive wordly things, so we will say simplistic.
